From April 3 to 5, the Vorwarts Pharma team had a great opportunity to participate in an important event for the medical community - the XXVIІ National School of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Ukraine, which took place in Kyiv. The event was held in a mixed format - offline at Premier Hotel Rus and online for those who could not join in person.
Topical issues and professional discussion
For three days, the school participants discussed modern challenges and approaches in gastroenterology: from diagnosis and treatment to prevention of digestive diseases. Much attention was paid to the role of nutrition in maintaining health, as well as concomitant pathology. Presentations were made by both leading Ukrainian doctors and international experts.
Among the Ukrainian speakers were experts well known to many doctors, who are always a pleasure to listen to and are sincerely respected by the medical community:
Professor Natalia Kharchenko, Professor Igor Skrypnyk, Professor Serhiy Stepanov, Professor Yuriy Dorofeev and others.
Among the invited speakers were:
Giovanni Barbara (Italy) - Professor at the University of Bologna, Peter Malferteiner (Germany) - Professor at the Otto von Guericke University, Maura Corsetti (UK) - Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, Enrique de Madaria (Spain) - President of the Spanish Association of Gastroenterology.
The speeches were really fascinating - a lot of useful advice, new ideas and views that I want to apply in practice.
